ECTs

The LINK Education Trust is a growing family of six schools across Salford, united by a shared belief that every child, whether in a mainstream or specialist setting, deserves an exceptional education. Our unique blend of SEND and mainstream schools allows us to offer a rich, diverse professional experience where compassion, adaptability and high-quality teaching go hand in hand.

As a small, collaborative Trust, we know our staff well. You won’t be just one of many, you’ll be a valued and supported member of a close-knit community. For Early Career Teachers, this means personalised mentoring, access to skilled practitioners across a wide range of educational settings, and opportunities to learn from colleagues who are experts in inclusion, behaviour, communication and curriculum design.

We provide our ECTs with structured, high-impact support: protected development time, clear pathways for progression, and regular coaching from experienced mentors who understand what the early years of teaching really feel like. Your wellbeing matters to us; we review workload carefully and continuously refine systems so that your time and energy can stay focused on your pupils.

One of the strengths of The LINK Education Trust is the emphasis on collaboration. Staff meet across schools to share strategies, refine practice, and co-develop innovative approaches that benefit all learners. As an ECT, you will have a voice in shaping Trust-wide initiatives and the freedom to bring fresh ideas to the table, your perspective is genuinely valued.

If you’re looking for a Trust where relationships come first, where inclusion is woven into everything we do, and where you will be supported to grow into a confident and reflective teacher, The LINK Education Trust offers the ideal place to begin your career.

If this sounds like the Trust that you would like to work for please complete the Application Form for our 'ECT Pool' below.

Our ECT Pool offers a streamlined route into teaching roles across our schools. Rather than applying for individual vacancies, you will submit one application to join our pool. Successful candidates will be considered for suitable positions as they arise, matched to schools where they can thrive and develop.

Being in the pool does not always guarantee a job, but it means you have passed the initial quality threshold.

Apply today and take the first step towards a rewarding career with us!
